Love Boldly: Connectional Ministries
ANNNUAL CONFERENCE
Using spoken word, TikTok-style videos, spoken reports, and music, the Connectional Ministries team presented their report. Camp and Retreat Ministries, Methodist Home for Children, and The Duke Endowment also shared updates.
All Saints Celebration and Memorial Service
ANNUAL CONFERENCE
"These faithful souls we honor today witnessed countless miracles throughout their lives and undoubtedly participated in creating many more. We gather in profound gratitude for the lives of these witnesses who continue to inspire us,” said Rev. Bob Bergland.
Honoring Retiring Clergy
ANNUAL CONFERENCE
The NC Conference celebrated and thanked 16 clergy for their faithful years of service and ministry during the retiree luncheon and recognition.
Love Boldly: Peace Building with Rev. Dr. Lydia Muñoz
ANNUAL CONFERENCE
Muñoz discussed the Spirit of Acompañamiento and the importance of deep listening, discerning in community, and collaborating with community.
Final Two Constitutional Amendments Presented
ANNUAL CONFERENCE
The final, aggregate tally of votes will be announced after all conferences have voted and their results certified by each annual conference secretary.
Financial Reports and Nominations Approved
ANNUAL CONFERENCE
All reports were approved by the body before the close of session Friday afternoon.
